These are our communities. Our loved ones. Our futures.
That's why we fight.
Today, 26 million Americans have T2 diabetes. Every year 1.5 million more are newly diagnosed. The CDC estimates as many as 1 in 3 adults could have T2 diabetes by 2050. Stop and think about that for a moment. A disease that only 1% of people had as recently as the 1950s is on a trajectory to impact 1 out of every 3 adults in our country.
T2 diabetes has taken too much. From our families and from our communities.
Science proves that we can defeat T2 diabetes. The key is losing weight -- and keeping it off. But few people know that, and even fewer have access to the guidance and support they need to achieve it.
Rewind was built for anyone.
People are told T2D is a willpower problem, but it’s not. They’re told they have to learn to live with it, but they don’t. They’re told to eat less and exercise more, as if it’s that easy. Or they’re told they have to altogether give up what they enjoy eating, when they don’t.
We designed Rewind to truly meet patients where they are. Defeating disease doesn’t happen in a vacuum, it happens in the real world – your world. Whether you drive long-haul 18 wheelers, work a desk job, or chauffeur the minivan to soccer practice, the system works so long as you’re willing to show up and give it your best.
